Care to explain this one?
Simple. The Bible doesn't say that god did not have a flashlight handy, therefore it's plausible that he used a big honkin' flashlight until he had the sun and moon ready. And if you point out that plants needed light, I'll point out that the Bible doesn't say that the godly flashlight didn't project the light necessary to trigger photosynthesis. You keep bringing up objections, and I'll keep pointing out that there's all kinds of gaps in the story that I can stuff more magic into. Checkmate atheists!
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
