Responding to "Homosexuality is wrong, the same way incest is wrong"

For me a parent with a child is wrong even if the child is of the age of consent. Same goes for any person who had a position of authority when raising the child. I can't shake the feeling that if you raise a child you shouldn't raise them to ever want to have sex with you. It seems like an abuse of authority or something. But those are just feelings I have on the inside. 

I feel like everyone making this point is kinda assuming prior intent on the part of the parent without a reason to? Generally speaking parents never have the "you shouldn't try to have sex with me," talk, that's just something that biology takes care of, so it goes as a given. Keeping that in mind, isn't it more likely, or at least equally likely, without any additional data on the subject, that those kinds of relationships arise without any specifically intended grooming, or some gap or failure in parenting that results in it? Or hell, what about estranged parents and their adult kids? No position of authority issue there at all.

Obviously the grooming thing is gross and immoral and shouldn't happen, I'm not condoning that, but it's sort of weird for me to see so many people making a leap of logic to where the power differential is even a thing. Speaking for my family relationship alone, I don't even see a power differential at all; I stopped thinking of my parents as having any power over me the moment I moved out, nor do I give their opinions any special import... but then, my folks are highly flawed individuals, with whom I have an adversarial relationship at best. My point is, there's as many shades of difference in that relationship as there are in any other.
