Some people choose to believe while others don't. It is that simple. People say this or that to prove or disprove which neither goes in the favor of the other.
2. Do not think that just because I have my view listed that it makes me a close-minded moron? There may be things in science that I do not think is right, but that does not mean that I completely dismiss science completely. That is a false assumption made by people who do not agree with me. 3. I don't know where you are from, but in my country, everyone is entitled to an opinion. 4. I do respect others views on things. I know Christians have a tendency to shove their beliefs down someone's throat. I don't do that. Either you agree or you don't and that is fine with me. 5. In my country, you are taught tolerance of other people's view and beliefs even when you disagree. If you choose to believe the way you do, that is fine with me. I am not going to condemn anyone on this site or any other site because of the way they think or believe or non-belief. Maybe others do, but I don't.
1. Not true. Based on a severe lack of evidence one can conclude god doesn't exist. If your god did exist I'd conclude he was a fuckup and a complete failure as a diety.
2. Because it's listed? No. Because it's wrong.
3. 'murica. Home of the moronic masses who fall back on their freedom of speech to try to lend some credence to the sewage falling out of their mouths. Have your freedom of speech, it wont make you right.
4. Yeah, no you don't. If you're a christian you've been conditioned not to. I know because I used to be one. I'll let you in on a little secret...(Many of us Atheists used to be quite religious and therefore know quite a bit-potentially more than you-about how your religion works)
5. Cool, see previous answer.
I will let you in on a little secret because you have proven a point of mine. I already knew before you even posted that about atheists. I knew the larger majority knows what the Bible says, how Christians believe, and how people use religion to control each other. They choose to dismiss it entirely.
Here is another secret. I have more reasons to walk away from it then I do to keep it because of the actions of people. Please do not mistake the fact that I know why people walk away from it. It is the ignorance, actions, and words that other people who claim to be Christians do to other people. Therefore you have people who walk away from it. Also, the loss of a child and what even pastors say such as "Well, God must have needed a little angel in heaven more than you needed him/her here." That is the last thing that a parent wants to hear about their dead child. Religion in general is an excuse to control people. That is what is going on in the Middle East and will always go on in the Middle East until something happens that ends the universe. Mormons is another religion who claim to be Christians, but turn around and have a whole different idea about what they say they believe. They use Mormonism to control people. Some pastors commit spiritual abuse to control others regardless of denomination.
I grew up in church. All it did for me was cause me heartache and grief really. Children who I went to school and church with laughed and teased me. I trusted some adults there that I should not have and told them what was going on in my childhood which is what no child should endure. Nothing was done except me being a bold-face liar. These were the so-called self-righteous Christians. Two of them are pastors now which in my opinion should not be. One is at least a counselor which she should not be either considering she acted like I was a bold-face liar. If she can't handle the things I have endured, that is the last field on earth she should ever be in. So believe it or not, I understand why people walk away. I understand their line of thinking, "Boy, if this is their God, why would I want to serve and worship Him for?" Here is another thing. I did walk away from church after I turned 18 and moved out of my mother's house. I was never forced to go to church. I chose to go to church. My grandparents took me to church. My mother only went maybe for a few years. I didn't fit in with my peers, my blood family, church, and now even on this site. One thing is for sure that out of all this, I really could care less how I am looked at by anyone or group. I am a survivor and nothing can hurt me regardless of any curse or demon or force anyone wants to bring against me.
I chose to make this post public so everyone on here can see that I have really been through the crap, too. That I have more reasons to walk away then to stay. After this being said publicly for anyone to read, why get mad at God for actions of imperfect human beings is now my next question. Human beings are screwed up from the word go.

Oh, and Blondie. That's fine that you don't want to believe in evolution. It can be your humble little opinion that it never happened.
But your opinion will be wrong.
You see, the amazing thing about science is that it's true regardless of whether or not you choose to accept it. Denying the fact of evolution (like denying the theory of gravity) won't make it any less real.
Sorry. Your Bible is factually incorrect. Grow up and move on,
Since your view is atheist, what would you do if it was ever proven wrong in your lifetime? Actually proven wrong by evidence? Then what?
