Doesnt this just underscore my point?
That if you don't really know what the full range of love is then how in the world are you in a position to judge what I have done?
Is your love so narrowly defined that you can not imagine not even one instance where a harsh word would be demanded by love?
I will acknowledge a wide range of ways to love others, but then again, not all ways of loves are favorable to me. Some I may find manipulative, some too selfish, objectifying, such as the way of love expressed in the Bible.
4 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. 5 Love is not rude, it is not selfish, and it cannot be made angry easily. Love does not remember wrongs done against it. 6 Love is never happy when others do wrong, but it is always happy with the truth. 7 Love never gives up on people. It never stops trusting, never loses hope, and never quits. 8 Love will never end.
In the above list where do you see anything you mentioned listed?
