From what I have seen, believers simply wish to work/suffer in the name of common good(in their own unique style).
That's looks really awesome, I can't argue with that, but it doesn't meant that such hard but fulfilling life is for everyone.
So, I cant say that believers are idiots if they are attempting to do reach the state of being "little angels". I give it ~50% chance that there is some kind of Deity managing this world.
But, serving to someone, to me seems like unbearable life= fuck it.
