I recently came across a very large feather, unfortunately I didn't have time to examine it other than just a passing glance. Was the largest I'd ever seen though.

Hmmm, archeopteryx had feathers 150 million years ago and those looked like they were for flight only.

Those feathers leave a lot to be desired.
