I was pittied.

RE: I was pittied.
G'day Don

I admire your restraint.I doubt I could prevent myself from saying something most unkind. ("Piss off you patronising moron", that kind of thing)

I have a suggestion: Migrate to Australia. Here most people REALLY don't care what of if you believe. We DO have a religious right, but they're an irrelevance for most of us. The majority of Australians have a healthy contempt for politicians, clergy, lawyers, used car sales people, child molestors and other members of the criminal classes.

We also have skills shortage in a whole range of areas. Aussies are casual and open, you'd be most welcome.

Welcome to the forum.

PS New Zealand is nice too; somewhat overwhelmingly beautiful and the people almost as friendly and open as Aussies.

You'd be shocked at how hard atheists are to organise ... FWIW I have organised campaigns in the past, my most recent the education oriented, "Science, Just Science" Campaign. It was quite successful at the time and if the bastards come out of the woodwork again (they're staying a bit hidden right now) I'll resurrect it.

Padraic, you have you fair share of fundies, some of the most notorious, see here for some: http://unbelief.org/groups/

This is what atheists have to deal with in Idaho.

If you have the time read the editorial posts in the school paper. Very informative.
