His father was not a slave, but a rather well-to-do private school teacher. He was from a serf family, which should actually make it easy to pin down his lineage, since Serfs are tied to the land and not free to move around.

Isn't ethnic lineage one of your specialties? With the kurds and all that jazz in Turkey?

LOL!!! no let me clear things up..... Ilya Ulyanovwas (Lenin's father) was a slave or "serf" born in imperialist Russia, he was born into slavery, therefore he does not know what race he is exactly, the best guess we have is that he was either Tatar or Kalmyk

Serfs are not slaves, let's not be loose with terminology. Serfs are tied to the land and can not be sold separately as independent property.

Serfdom is considered a form of slavery

Quote:Serfdom is the status of peasants under feudalism, specifically relating to manorialism. It was a condition of bondage or modified slavery

Yes you're right I'm mixing up his grandfather with his father, his father was a teacher and his grandfather was the one who was born a slave, who was either Tatar or Kalmyk, lenin's grandmother was anna who was kalmyk

does anyone have a better source for this?

Both Kalmuks and Tatars are as brothers to me, with Tatars being the name of my tribe amongst Turks. This is due to the father's tribal association being taken more into consideration. Like, for example, my mother's side is of the Kurtoghlu Turcomans, while my father's side is of the crimean Tatars.
If his father were to be a Tatar, or revese, a Kalmuk, he would probably identify himself with the tribe of his father, even though he would know and cherish the tribe of his mother, just as I do.
This is same in russia for those who do not marry from those who we deem as associated people, like for example, a Tatar-Russian marriage would produce a child that would identify himself as a Tatar, although I'd still discourage my kinsmen from marrying those of foreign blood.

I was just trying to make a point, of whether he was of Tatar or Kalmuk ancestry. If he were of any of these, he would have been properly named, and Kalmuks with their Boryat roots and lamaist beliefs ought to take naming a lot more seriously.
I was just trying to figure out what kind of a Buryat of Tatar his father might have been.
I don't know, with him being a serf..I just have to guess that he probably was of christian heritage and had adopted christian customs and names(due to serfdom).

In short, no need to get agitated so quickly, friend. I mean no offense to anyone.

Oh, he's as racist as the devil! They're all like that. I've read of "honour killings". They kill their children who marry other races. As if it's so grand to be a Turk.

Do we? I guess I have to learn about "honour killings" from a certain outsider who claims to know these things.

These honour killings that you speak of are the deeds of the morally and culturally inferior and primitive kurds(persian gypsies). Whenever I hear of such things in my country, the perpetrator either lives in the kurdish-inhabitated areas(i.e. is a kurd), or is a migrant from those areas, settled amongst Turkish majority areas, but still refusing to become civilized. Forced marriages, female circumcision and child-brides too, are an all-kurdish phenomena throughout Turkey.

Similarly, the honour killings attibuted to Turks in Europe are done by kurds. They are only attributed to Turks because of our stupid nationality laws. With their Turkish citizenship, the kurd shames our name with it's brutality and greed everywhere.

However, I can't really blame them either. Their primitive culture is the result of hundreds of years of stagnation in mindset. The hill-men mindset looks at life from a strictly materialistic viewpoint. To a kurdish man, a child, if male, is either someone whom he can use to tend to his animals, have him work on the fields, or use as a soldier in tribal skirmishes, while a girl, who is not even considered a "child" is something to collect dowry on, a someone that can be sold to others at will.
When the honour killing becomes "honour" killing, is actually when the girl is deemed to be unfit to be married to another man. That usually comes to play when the girl's virginity is under question, even if the girl is still a virgin, the slightest doubt is enough for that girl to suffer death through a bullet, strangulation, drowning and other means. Because the slightest doubt will result in the girl being shamed by the public. When she can't marry, she's a liability to the family. Any liability in the mindset of the primitive hill-men is worthy of wiping off at an instant.
I've heard of kurds kiling their daughters for something like requesting a song on the radio or going to a cinema. If not for the vain efforts of the government, most of the kurds wouldn't send their daughters to school at all.
Like there is one kurdish guy I know, he has 7 brothers and 3 sisters. His sisters and his mother are not able to speak the Turkish language at all. His three brothers have not seen education beyond primary education, although their father is a somewhat wealthy landowner who can afford to employ qualified and honest Turkish workers from other cities.

Turkey is a disgrace and should not be allowed into EU. Before it can even be considered, Turkey should declare a national mourning for its crime against humanity when it killed the Kurds. You obviously sound like a repugnant racist who wouldn't think much of the killing of Kurds. You aren't civilized as long as you don't know how to behave in civilized societies and you continue to mouth your racist jargon.

Remember, when you are online with the rest of decent civilized humanity, you should behave like one even if you are not. You must not behave like an uncivilized racist pig. The only people who disgrace Turkey are the Turkish racist pigs. You're not human if you are racist. Everyone knows that. All racists are pigs. It's in your Quran too. Be a good Muslim and show your love for your Kurdish brothers and if you can't do that, even Allah will condemn you as a racist pig.
