Not sure why. I just am.

*shrugs*

My favorite holiday is Thanksgiving. I love food. <3

It all started early in October, before freaking Halloween even happened, and now it's getting worse. At this rate, we'll be having the good old "War on Christmas" debates spread all over the internet soon enough.

I don't know about you, but the fact that everyone's all excited for a holiday that's a month away, and considering what it's supposed to be celebrating, isn't even on the right day, pretty much sums up this whole so called "war."

It's like a fight between giant tigers and skittles. Christianity seems to have brought nuclear weapons to a slap fight.
Er, you're bitching about it before it even starts. What's that say about you?

That I really have nothing better to do. I'm not going to lie.

"Plastic" Christmas annoys the fuck out of me, mostly because it lasts all year long. I like to celebrate my holidays in due time, with anticipation and planning that goes on PRIVATELY.

If Christmas stuff started in December, I wouldn't have a problem with it.

Meanwhile, I have always felt cleaner and purer of the crass commercialism by celebrating Chanuka. Latkes are the shit.

This year I might request we have a winter solstice orgy, though. The CAA loves an excuse to party. Might as well heat the house somehow.
