Don't you believe in the rule of law?   Of course people would turn in their guns if required to do so.  They did it in the western movies when the sheriff told the cowboys to turn in their guns.  And those cowboys were mean guys.

If a Constitutional amendment were passed outlawing private gun ownership you'd see just how sacred the Constitution is to gun fans.
