Whether you think more gun control is a good idea or not, you just can't take guns away from Americans.
Contrary to popular belief, Libertarians actually don't like the NRA very much. It's people like them that make gun owners look stupid.
Also, let me put a different perspective on this issue.

The trouble Min, is that if you disregard "gun nut" culture murder rates don't actually go down. Dead bodies accumulate regardless of the manner in which the perpetrators stack them up. "Gun nuts" aren't largely responsible for gun crime (nor are they responsible for crimes committed with guns) "crime nuts" are.......
There's something that needs fixing-allow me unlimited access to firearms, let me have a harrier with a tactical nuke...and I bet not a single death ensues........something other than gun-nuttery is involved. Fix that.
