@ the OP: I am not aware of any of these "sexual predators" that you speak of.
In my experience if "sexual predatory" is what you are talking about, then "weirdo" is the wrong word. I am of the understanding that "weirdo" simply means "weird person" and that what is "weird" is a form of vague substance that is sometimes described in a negative way, and sometimes described in a positive way, and whether used negatively or positively it's in both cases not intensely negative or positive, it's just a symbol of "unique negativity" or "unique positivity". "Weirdness" is not an extreme thing. Beyond positive weirdness there is the "special", beyond negative weirdness there is the "perverse". Someone being "weird" whether it's good or bad "weirdness" does not make them either "special" or "perverse". Weirdness is way too common for that. In my experience if nothing was even remotely "weird" at all then life would be very lifeless, very underwhelming, very despairing. It would have no character, no personality, no uniqueness, whether positive or negative. Weirdness is common, weirdness is unique and weirdness is emotion. If you have a genuine complaint, it's got to be beyond "weirdness". If you have a genuine compliment, it's got to be beyond "weirdness".  |
