RE: Penn Jillette on atheism: End religion, don't replace it
I know him. And I saw his series called "bullshit".

I just didnt like it, I found it a bit overexaturated and stuff.
I am more the person who likes listening to calm debates.

Poor TGAC... He IS american. IF one doesn't shout and scream one is not getting one's point across.

YOU who were going on about being pragmatic! Angry

I dont know how to put this. well, he has some good points, I just spend my time listening to people who have better points.

Pragmatism = “what works” Yes?

Ergo Penn Jillett has to get past all those evangelical preachers to get his point across. This may not suit the Teutonic mind but there is the rub. Get out of your Teutonic mindset and try to understand how other cultures think feel and respond to such as Penn Jillet.

You don’t HAVE to agree with the guy but he does bring some valid points to the table…such as

“You don’t like atheism? Then ditch religiosity and there will BE NO atheism”

That is your privilege and opinion TGAC.

You must understand that I do NOT follow anyone. I listen (like you do) to what they have to say and think... Thinking hmmmmm. Something more to add to my own understanding.

I dont follow anyone eighter, only dominant women and my natural German instincts to follow a leader Tongue.

I usualy just pick up arguments on atheism in case my atheism is called to question, but my atheism came to be through my own individual thought process and not because I follow someone.

Your "German instincts" are not just Germanic little one.

SO many more individuals think like you do and they are NOT German
