I ask for a friend of mine you see Wink

That depends on a lot of factors, including material well being as well as intelligence, relative education, wit,personality---and character.

Most women worth being around will spot an arsehole or a phony pretty quickly.

I had just turned 30 when I met my (former) wife. She was 19. I remain convinced age difference definitely makes a difference if one of a couple is under about 30. In my case; She grew up. I didn't.

I met my last girlfriend, and love of my life when she was 35 and I was 46. That lasted 7 years. We split in 2002. I still think of her every day. (insert small violin here)

My father met mum when he was 24 and she was 17.They had been married for almost 60 years exactly when dad died.

I guess, there are no reliable rules of thumb.

RE: Age difference?
Hi darwinian,
I think that it differs from person to person. I have seen that a person had love with a woman older than him by 7 years and had married her.

Hi Edward Samule,
Can you clarify this a little bit. May be I do not understand your point.
