No it isn't...I'm talking about general citizens. I don't know how it works elsewhere but in Britain, anyone can lobby for anything directly to their member of parliament.

Oh that's right. I was just over there last week, nice tour of parliament and everything. I love the whole "bulls gathered in a pen" style of governing you got there.

I'm from the US, there is no such thing as mysterious motives here when it comes to lobbying.

It's citizens here, at least in my constituency. We have community based lobby groups.

Theoretically, the US does too. Each congressman/woman in the US represents the interests of their constituents.
