Agnosticism is not a 'belief structure'. Agnosticism does not address belief, it only addresses knowledge, or lack thereof.

Nor is it agnosticism 'fence sitting' position.

In other words, agnosticism is the position that the existence of a god is unknown, and possibly unknowable. It does not address whether you hold the proposition that a god exists or does not exist to be true.

Belief is the psychological state of holding a proposition to be true.

If you hold the proposition that a god exists to be true, you are a theist (in your case, a deist). Anything else, is atheism.

Agnosticism and atheism are not mutually exclusive positions. Neither is agnostic theism.

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.
