Up early this morning. I've forgotten to take my morning pills for two days. The big problem with that is that I take supplements to keep my electrolytes in balance, because if I don't they get out of whack from donating plasma. When that happens I have episodes of leg cramps lasting anywhere from a few minutes to a couple of hours. So that's what I've been dealing with at 4:30 am on a Monday morning. I didn't feel like trying to go back to sleep.
I tried an ASMR video last night. I got more tense straining to hear what the person in the video was saying, so I switched to a rainstorm.
Taking stock of my meds. It's time to order refills.

It's soup and stew season. Husband made chili yesterday...bit a favorite of mine.
I dug the InstaPot out this morning and am going to see if I remember how to make chicken and dumplings. Seems to be off to a good start. Chicken, broth, seasoning, carrots and celery. My ILS worker taught me. Still, I can't duplicate the flavor of my father's chili. Mine is spicy where his was hot and tomatoey.
I finished my Christmas shopping. I did alright. One gift is going back, but after that, I only spent $400 on gifts. I usually spend $500-700.
Husband and I just received a card from my boss expressing her sympathy over the loss of Karm. Very nice and much appreciated. She is so thoughtful.
