Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.
RE: Where did the universe come from? Atheistic origin science has no answer.
Indeed yes. I should have added that. I'm so often told God wants to communicate with me, he wants to get to know me.

Fine! I'm not stopping him. I'm right here bubba, come say hi. Or just turn up at least. That's what existent entities do. If you're not powerful enough to say hi, or not intelligent enough to communicate with me in a way I'll understand, then too bad I guess. If you think you're above me and won't say hi, then fuck you! I'm a cool dude you know. He apparently talks to other people, so he should be able to manage it with me.

I'll carry on with my life, living it as best I can. I don't feel the need to bow down to anyone, least of all someone who hides from me.

If he wants to come play Street Fighter 2 then that would be cool actually.

Would not be much of a game though. What, 30 seconds?
You make people miserable and there's nothing they can do about it, just like god.

God has no place within these walls, just as facts have no place within organized religion.

Science is like a blabbermouth who ruins a movie by telling you how it ends. There are some things we don't want to know. Important things.

A point is 0 dimensions, a line is 1.

If anyone is still awake, I would appreciate feedback.

Thanks!

The idea that anything possible must therefore exist collapses under its own absurd weight.  It would require a universe to contain
its own power set and that is impossible whether the universe is finite or infinite.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Words of the Bible and the facts of nature come from the same source, from God himself, who chose to make himself known. There isn’t a third choice or someone could claim they have special revelation.
God is not revealed directly through the five senses. Consider this scene. -
If a physical entity with the appearance of personhood were to materialize on the white house lawn and while saying “I’m God” (loud enough that it was recorded) levitated a foot above the ground, would that constitute proof that God is not hidden?
As the secret service approached, this entity asked one agent to place his hand onto the entity’s shoulder which the agent did thus making the entity to disappear. Later, in the briefing, the agent said the shoulder garment felt ‘velvety’, anything else you noticed? ‘yes, as we approached this thing, there was an aroma of fruit, the closer we got the more pungent it become, much like orange blossoms’.

Unless they don't.

Just saying.

Isn't it so revealing that the only evidence theists ever offer are hypothetical scenarios that have never happened? And then we're the unreasonable ones for dismissing them.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Even that would be an improvement over the bald assertions snowy is always making.

I don't think he is really trying any more. Guess he thinks our souls will just save themselves.

Wow, so David Blaine is god?  I never knew:

And that is the point.  You claim your god has always existed, created the universe, and is all powerful and the best even hypothetical proof is a trick preformed by street magicians?  Worse than that your hypothetical god flees at the first sign of authorities, a touch demolishes him.  What you're describing is your average ghost sighting except the ghost claims to be god.

No wonder you believe.  The best proof you can imagine is duplicatable by any number of magicians.   I have a patent medicine I'd like to sell you. PM me and we can work a deal for my magic elixir that heals all.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

In other words, it's impossible to verify that god exists.  That's not news to us, sparky.
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."
