You mean like killing innocents such as babies?

Could be....

He certainly seems to be unrestrained by any compassion or morality as we understand it.

But God is not compelled to do anything.

But if god wanted to do something, he'd be able to? So... he can do anything. Why did you bother classifying this?

But the verb "to know" is a merely a sub-set of God's abilities of which there are many things He can 'do' if He wants.

Can God know the future if He wants? Of course.

Is He compelled to constantly know every aspect of the future. No. Why would He, of all people, need to worry about what might happen as a result of human free will?

So there are things that god doesn't know? Oh, this should be fun. Devil

If god doesn't know everything, then his claims to being capable of knowing anything and doing anything are wrong by default; there is a distinct possibility that one of those things he doesn't know is the fact that there are things he's incapable of doing or knowing, he just doesn't know what they are because he hasn't bothered knowing the fact that he's limited.

And down the logical corkscrew we go. Tongue

And you don't need to learn to comfort if no one needs comforting.

See how that works? Think things through to a logical conclusion.

OK, someone please answer me this: Why would I want to worship a god that is neither all-powerful nor all-knowing?

Second question, why would I want to worship a deity that's powerful enough to torture me for eternity, but not powerful enough to end suffering on earth. Sounds like a sadistic, evil god.

Because some people think God is compelled to do stuff just because we cant understand His action/inaction.

...God must be impotent because He doesnt do 'xyz' and we think He should

There is nothing that God is incapable of knowing anytime He chooses.

Do you agree that God could, if He wanted, choose not to be mindful of something in the future?

...yeah but God, arent you worried about people with free will (like satan) doing stuff unexpectedly?

God - No. I'm God. I can cross that bridge when I come to it. If I feel like it. If I let it get that far. Besides, why would I want to fast forward to the end of the movie?
