Often it is true for many people that they will only accept that others love them if they can see that they are worth loving. What other people think of you can put you down, but it usually isn't enough to lift you up if you already have a bad opinion of yourself. It's important to learn to live with yourself Smile.

I am almost 22 and still single and I pity those who end up in relationship too soon and realize they've done it wrong or too early.

Enjoy your life while you can. Before you have to think about kids or spouse.

Its true that you can still enjoy life after being in a relationship, but it requires you to be a grown up and intelligent planner.

The greatest people in the world were singles, who sacrificed their life for the greater good of humanity.

Now tell me, who's the looser now? Wink

True.

One thing is that a lot of people tend to judge us based on external or materialistic things, but they don't know our inner selves, or who we are at heart, which is the most important. They tend to form opinions of us based on external things like how we look, what clothes we wear, how many cars we have, how rich or poor we are, what educational degree we have, how many friends we have, what job we are doing, and so on and so forth.

I think that people who care about those things too much, they are more likely to be affected by the opinions of others. They sort of lost connection with their inner selves and that's why the voices and superficial judgements of other people drown out their own; they are not able to be honest with themselves. And correspondingly, their self-understanding starts to become more and more cloudy.

In order for someone to want to be a part of your life, she will need to see that you have a life even without her in it yet. No woman in her right mind will want to enter someone's life to give it meaning or purpose where there was none to begin with. It's too much responsibility. You need to enjoy yourself, enjoy life, get busy, and while you're at it someone will become a part of that and find you fascinating. You want that instead of finding someone who later feels she's babysitting you in order to keep you healthy. Some people think they want to mean the world to someone, but the truth is nobody wants that responsibility. People want to share their lives with someone who can share in return, not become their only meaning of it.

I assure you people are spending less time wondering why you don't have a girlfriend than you are. I doubt that when they look at you they are focused on the missing girl. People are more focused on what is there, than on what isn't. So, what is there? Make it awesome. For you, not for others. When you get that straight, she'll come. Then cum.

I understand it's a difficult situation... I myself had my first gf at... hmmm... 20 or 21, can't remember... and she had to do most of the work! Tongue
What did I do, prior to that?... well, I wasn't planning on having her as gf, that's for certain. But I just hung around her group. I did flirt with her a bit, but always respectfully.... eventually she approached me with further intents... and things happened.

It's a be the right person at the right time sort of thing, I guess...
