I recently went on an absolute bender of Lee Child's Jack Reacher novels, and that is too much Jack Reacher that could have easily been attenuated by any other sort of reading.

Unless you are as gluttonous for crap novels as I am, you don't read too much. Oh- and welcome!

Zazzy, I fucking love Reacher. Far as I'm concerned they're not crap novels. There is learning to be found in Reacher novels.
As a side note, the clock in my head is (not spot on, maybe) usually pretty damn accurate.

And welcome, Zen.... your post says CT... right? I was born in Groton.

Min, how about z-blast

Thanks Zazzy, I love a great novel....I will check out Jack Reacher.... sounds like a private eye.

Groton is about a half hour due east from Clinton

Thank you all!

He's a homeless wandering ex MP who never fails to find trouble and kick its ass. Hard. He's great, and there's about a million Reacher books.

Welcome, ZB II -- sounds like you've had an interesting journey. But I must say I'm curious... how is an alter boy different from an altar boy? Or is the answer an obvious one? Wink

I think you'll like this place. Smile

Yeah, I was thinking if they ever meet they'll probably annihilate each other in a massive burst of energy.

Hi to the new ZB (or maybe we could go all Star Wars and say ZB-2?)

ZB-2, I'd be honored.
