Checkout staff refusing to serve pork or alcohol

RE: Checkout staff refusing to serve pork or alcohol
For those who complaint I can say that I see worse.
I'm a Frenchman (I precise it to give an idea about the context). A day I was in the cafeteria of a "Lycée professionnel" or "Vocation School" in English.

A young Muslim man (btw 16 and 20 years old) ask if the meals are Halal. The canteen woman answered that all meals are Halal except the pork. Also she did precised that he doesn't must say it to others people because France is a secular state.

Halal meal doesn't just mean no pork. There's a specific way to slaughter animals to make them halal, for starters you need to be chanting some prayer while you're doing it. In my home country they played the prayer on radios throughout slaughterhouses to be certified halal. That's why you can see chicken labelled halal at the supermarkets. So it's really a bit hypocritical to make such a big fuss considering they shouldn't even be eating the other meats.

Ya, it involves sectioning the throat but keeping the nerve intact so that the heart keeps on beating, causing the animal to bleed out completely. This removes the blood from the animal so Muslims say it is more clean without all the blood in it which can be means for spreading sickness and disease.

When you watch it happen, it looks cruel and disgusting. The animal is in a lot of pain because the throat is slit but the nerve signals are ok.

casse couille ces mecs

Cool Shades You know this French expression.
For those who are interest about the meaning of this :
The litteral translation might be :
1.(word to word) Ball-breaker these guys.
2.These guys are ball-breakers.

You can translate "casse couille" with the next words : "ball-breaker , pain in the ass , bugging , assed etc..."
