No I am serious it was at a small Pentecostal church I used to go to with my parents. The horrifying noises the demon made through her mouth still bother me. We luckily had plenty of strong men to restrain the possessed woman. I hope she has not been possessed since and is no longer struggling with her sexuality.

struggling? I hope you're not struggling with your heterosexuality. That must be tough. You know, struggling with something like... sexuality. Do you struggle with your language? That must be another tough thing to struggle with. I certainly don't struggle with my sexuality.

If I ever saw a "demon-possessed" Evangelical who suddenly became calm, rational, articulate, and charming as a result of the alleged possession, then I might be willing to grant it. After all, that would require some real demonic juju. But a bunch of bumpkins rolling around, hissing, roaring, and spouting gibberish just seems too much like church.

I doubt that you do. She was probably crazy, but unless you have some concrete proof that demons exist, and one was inside of her, there's no reason to think it was a demon.
