I came across the site quite accidentally, and lurked for a long while before posting. I joined the site because I liked what I saw from the members and needed a place to vent and discuss things.

I joined because it was one of two forums (the other being TTA) recommended to me by someone I met on the Internet. I couldn't decide on one, so I joined both. Simple enough. However, I rarely post here and on the other forum.
The truth is absolute. Life forms are specks of specks (...) of specks of dust in the universe.
Why settle for normal, when you can be so much more? Why settle for something, when you can have everything?

Being at college I have no one to talk to about these things IRL. Or about anything, actually...so I started looking for, well, something; I'm not really sure. I know I lurked a lot on several fora before settling here. I like this place. Besides talking about atheism, I like debating, which can also be partaken of here (though I haven't been up to much of that recently).
