What do you hate about religion?

I suppose I abhor religion for the reason that it makes otherwise normal people into absolutely hateful bigots. There is also the fact that religion presents itself as a veritable truth in relation to knowledge, when it is anything except that; lies should be shot down, not upheld.

Most people don't rally against religion for no reason. Say what is that about religion that you specifically dislike.

I don't rally against it at all.

What I dislike about it is that it can make good people do awful things and believe that what they are doing is for the benefit of the people they are victimizing. They may harm others mentally or emotionally and leave lasting scars because they believe it is "the will of god" and because they believe it is "for your own good."

From my perspective, it does not affect my life in any way. I am already an antisocial individual; avoiding theists is not a big issue since I avoid everyone anyway.

A better question, for the sake of succinctness, would be what don't I hate about religion. I don't hate some of the charity work that comes from it (which in all honesty, in my experience, is usually just self-serving "Oh, look how pious and helpful I am" bullshit but it helps the needy all the same), I don't hate every theist, but I do despise the vast majority that I have met for being proudly, willfully ignorant bigoted fuckwads.

I hate the arrogance in religion, and atheism, this is why I don't call myself either.

The arrogance is that they think they know it all, because they have science on their side, but don't get me wrong, I do lean more towards atheism.

Are you an imbecile? Any honest critical thinker who has 'science on their side' is fully aware of the fact that they don't have all the answers, in other words they are honestly ignorant... that's kind of why science is a thing.

Everything, anyone, that does not adhere to their theistic worldview of how life should be led. Their hate is not always clearly shown for the average viewer, but it is most assuredly always there even if hidden under the false guise of what they erroneously consider love for the sinner.
