Odd sect or denomination

I wouldn't be surprised if they were in some kind of Laestadianistic sect, they are fucking strict with anything modern.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

I talked with my mum about it and apparently they only wore those wierd clothes on special occasions. Ordinary services, the women wore just 'ordinary' conservative dress and shawls, and the men suits. The rules and prohibitions of the Laestadians are practically identical to verything the girls weren't allowed to do. Or however you want to put it... I wouldn't know about it either, weren't it for being about the craziest sect we have this side of the Bothnian Gulf. I had an acquaintance, who's parents were Laestadian, and he was truly fucked up due to the fact. He did everything he wasn't supposed to do and then some. And of course we cover the most common Christian denominations in Finland in school, so that's why I knew about it too. Truly crazy stuff..
