If God did exist then I would negotiate directly and bypass his lame ass middle man. Jesus Christ serves no purpose. If God can't forgive me directly for things that I never did then he can go fuck hiimself. The stupid cunt shouldn't be holding me responsible for another's transgressions to begin with.

You idiots aren't smart enough to realize that if what the Bible says is true we are all in a world of shit. Why anyone would want it to be true is beyond me.

And don't now swoop in with some bullshit claiming that it's true and your belief has nothing to do with desire. God doesn't exist and your Bible is mostly myth. There are sufficient reasons for these conclusions so your insistance in believing is driven by a desire to wish that it is true. I will grant exceptins for children, those with mental disabilities, and those without access to information all of whom by the way would have to have been indoctrinated. Nobody arrives at this shit independently (hint: one reason why it's myth, none of your claims can be independently discovered).

Unfortunately, for you at least, the plan of salvation is through His Son and none other.

Fuck you. I hold all "evil" in contempt. I simply hold the most "evil" in the most contempt.

Seriously, that's all you've got for the points I made. To busy defending your monster gawd to actually counter them, eh?

If, hypothetically, your god turned out to be real and he was represented accurately in your Bible? Sure, if he were to present himself and leave no doubt that he was real I'd have to accept that. Would I worship him? Fuck no. I'd take hell over being next to that capricious, bloodthirsty cunt for eternity. Evidently your god isn't all that impressive up close, seeing as his best Archangel and 30% of his host decided to tell him to eat shit.

Jesus said if you've seen me you have seen the Father. Jesus was quite loving, His Father is too!

I think I would prefer to just go on nonchalantly ignoring the whole silly choice until such time as your hypothetical becomes manifest. I really can't conceive of a being as capable as you describe who would be as petty and as obsessed with us as you imagine. Cross that bridge if and when we get there.

It is amazing that an infinite all powerful and all knowing being would put so much interest in us but He has. He is even concerned about you personally. He wants you to receive salvation today.

What does it mean to "receive him"?
Have the guy over for dinner? Sure, why not? I could have a little chat with him about methodology, psychology, astronomy, sociology and a few other details that would rub the back of my head the wrong way, if that hypothetical was to become real.

I would love for Him to share lunch with you. He can answer all your questions. Zacchaeus was converted when he did.

In all seriousness, if god wants me to believe in him, he can tell me himself. He doesn't need online trolls who are only good at repeating things that are found on every born again pamphlet ever.

I don't. So if you need to use your imagination in thinking what it would be like if I did, knock yourself out.

RE: Let's Just Say...
This is why the debate is inherently biased. I've heard Christians say that if they didn't believe in God and the bible that they would go out and do horrible things, murder and rape etc. That the bible is the only thing stopping them from that. Aside from that extremely frightening image, can you imagine if an Atheist answered non-jokingly that they would go out and strangle as many hookers as possible. So I think that's my answer. If I believed in God and Jesus I would strangle hookers.

Seems like God's warning that there would be a great falling away at the end rings more true reading your post.

There is no evidence for the existence of your god. So if what you mean is some guys pretending to speak for a made up god predicted that people would eventually wise up to their bullshit, then yea you're right.

Was your purpose in this question just to have a chance to tell us each individually how wrong we are?
Seems like a typical Christian thing to do.

I do. All the fucking time. And, I find it quite lacking.

Your gawd is not above being judged when it claims to be the fount of all morality then promptly ignores those morals every time one of it's creations pisses it off.

I'll tell you exactly who we are to judge it. Living, breathing, thinking beings with better morality than any that sick fucking monster has ever been portrayed as showing.

If you sincerely believe that we don't have the moral right to judge that diseased pile of monkey shit that you call a god then you're even more morally bankrupt than it is.

Fuck you, fuck jebus, fuck the holey spirit, fuck your gawd and the horse that rode you all!

I'd simply acknowledge the fact that he exists and go on with my life. As far as putting my faith in Christ, I have no need. I already have someone concerned with my every move, listening to my private thoughts and judging them, constantly differentiating my actions between right and wrong, forgiving me for my sins and that job is presently occupied by ME.
