Well I probably would have left her if she had insisted on not kissing me for much longer. I also told her that while I understood her tendency to just give me a goodbye hug instead of a kiss if so much as her roommate was watching as a reflection of her beliefs against PDA, it made me feel like our relationship was something she was ashamed of. We've progressed since then but it seems like even after three years of being together she's still trying to figure out how to remain true to what she believes without coming off as an emotionless nun.

To Blackout: Perhaps it will end in disaster, but sexuality can't possibly be the only reason for leaving her, as I feel that would be perceived as shallow and it would be dumb since I really do care about her. To Tonus: I think he has friends who have told him about these things, or he hears about it on the news, which feeds the perception that "hookup culture" is predominant in America.

Of course sexuality isn't the only thing keeping a relationship working, but it is a part of it, for some people it will be more important, for others less. How much is too much? Will your different views congregate?
