Your kids will die. You know that. You still create them. You are a killer.
Oh...not just killers, sadists as well. Forget not that those kids aren't free to live their life-long agony to put it in your words: They are ripped from their playground, sent to school and then worked 40 hours/week until they get prostate cancer at 55 and die before retirement. That my friend, is worst than killing.
However, do we have any other choice? If we had a spaceship built around the sun, providing energy for billions of years, our DNA would be modified to make us immortals and we didn't have to lift a finger to earn our existence, then we wouldn't kill our children the way you put it, but give them eternal life in eternal bliss, like your fake God "can".
The problem is, and I said it a few times and I'll say it again, we're born at the wrong place at the wrong time in my opinion, all of us on Earth. We are...like a virus consuming our host planet, without means for breaking free of it or perpetuating our existence.
You are right, every single living organism on Earth who attempted to survive has failed, but where these organisms have failed, we will succeed. It is only a matter of time before technological advancements give birth to immortal life forms, that can accumulate knowledge and skills forever and ever.
But to get there, we have to die and kill our children also, simply because we don't know if what it's happening now on Earth will ever happen again, and we might be the last chance that our Universe has at figuring itself out and end the chaos. So given the importance of this ultimate goal, we kill our children gladly I assure you.
