Hahaha! What would you have happen to her then? Should she be arrested?

Her parents should maybe learn how to parent.

Sorry, can you quote the relevant ordinance denying the right of minors to heckle street preachers?

If I was the guy, I would have asked the girl this loud enough so that everyone could hear. "If you were trying to say something would it be okay for someone keep shouting shut up at you"? If she said "no", I would say "please be nice and let me talk." If she said that it would be okay for someone to do that, I would resume talking and let her shout.

Yeah, that was foremost in my mind. Since I come from a family he has decimated, I'm pretty sensible when it comes to something like this beauty.

So that's what you think she should do....
Gives me the cold shivers to be honest.

For the third time, i said she should respect her ELDERS, not authority. If she were an adult then I wouldn't have a problem with her behavior, except it seems the adults knew better.

That's not bad, but maybe he should be honest and phrase it, 'Little girl, if you were standing in a public square with a loudspeaker system blaring your religious beliefs at volume to people who didn't ask to hear you, would it be ok if folk shouted at you to zip your lips?'

Elders don't get respect simply because they're elders, mate.

And you don't even stop to consider that this is basically the same bullshit. Just because he's older, though not by much by the looks of him, doesn't automatically earn him the respect ticket. It's still something to be earned.

And don't come back with the teacher. I've heard you the first time. He's not her teacher, who by the way, does something useful as opposed to this guy. He's simply voicing his opinion in a public square.

I'd have to know the situation better before I'd agree with you.

And this is why society has gone down hill. when i was a kid you never referred to an adult by their first name, nowadays kids are on a first name basis with their teachers.

Much simpler time I guess...

I suppose you were taught that respect needs not to be earned by authority figures? Dangerous, that.

The preacher had respect for the little brat and, I'm sure she deserves none. Atheist responding to others with no moral value.
