You're right no one does, you were created to help those in need and you have failed miserably. Left to man's desire to help those that are starving around the world it want get done. The Church does more than atheist ever have for these people.
The Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, is the third largest in the world, preceded only by the Salvation Army and Red Cross. So you see Christians lead even above nations in disaster relief. God does care and moves through His people to help those in need.

I had a co-worker to tell me he and his family had no food to eat, because the mother spent all the money on drugs. I talked to my church and they bought them a weeks worth of food. Most people do good when they see those they care about in need. The scriptures tell Christians if our enemy is in need we should feed and cloth them, can you do that for someone who hates you.

In your previous post to me, you started it off with a judgement of me. Christians do tend to judge nonbelievers, and quite often unrightly. We are to tell others why what they do is wrong according to the scriptures, just as we are to tell other Christians when they do wrong. Unfortunately atheist take this the wrong way and believe we are judging them, when in actuality the are being judged by the scriptures ie. the word of God.
You probably are reading more into what some Christians are saying to you, because we are all sinners, the difference between you and Christians, Christians are forgiven their sins by God because we choose to have a relationship with God through Christ.
