The End of the World
RE: The End of the World
No, the increasing earthquakes are all gods work, can't take credit there. Well just bring the nuclear bombs and the nuts who'd rather fire them than admit they are deluded.

I've said before. If you talk as if the bible, and God and all that is just true, you might as well say nothing.

Unless you want to hear about the FSM? Who is also sitting next to me. He is saddened by this confusion. He created the world 300 years ago, but gave us memory and evidence making it look much older.

He also wrote the bible to see who would believe it. Whoopsie! He didn't even sign it to take credit.

I love you guys but this stuff makes it really hard to have a conversation.

Abaris, you nailed it perfectly. We truly on different planes.
When you are personally confronted with spiritual reality (coming to a world near you), my hope is that you change planes.

Umm, Rob there was a test of the sort you proposed.
The man who was told it knew he would have descendants via the "Victim", but he and the victim marched up the mount as commanded.
The marked one did not die- the whole thing was a picture of what would come hundreds of years later on the same mount.
Another father would offer up His Son for real.

Really? I haven't seen that appreciation on display.

Quote:Where did you come up with your idea that God regretted creating man, seems you're applying a word to a passage, so you can make an argument. You should check out scripture before you spout out things it doesn't say and try then to make an argument from the word you applied, talk about a waste of time.
God said He was sorry He created man. (sorry-adj. meaning- unpleasant state, mournful, sad. God did not make a wrong decision, man did and paid for it.
"And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart." Genesis 6:6 (KJV)

"the LORD regretted that He had made man on the earth, and He was grieved in His heart." Genesis 6:6 (Holman Christian Standard)

"And the LORD regretted that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him to his heart." Genesis 6:6 (ESV)

"The LORD regretted that he had made human beings on the earth, and his heart was deeply troubled." Genesis 6:6 (NIV)

"And it repented Jehovah that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart." Genesis 6:6 (ASV)

How do you like your crow?

Maybe you should check your own book. Let's ignore all of that and say you're right, and that the lord is simply sorry. When I'm sorry about something I've done it means that I fucked up and I know it.

Quote:I had no say in creation and I did not say I did.
No, you didn't. You sure like telling us how we are created though so you seem to believe you have firsthand knowledge.

Quote:Just because you do not accept the spiritual doesn't mean it's doesn't exist or that it's irrelevant, it actually means you can't accept anything outside your little world. As far as your definitions above, God is tangible, measurable and knowable. You haven't experienced this but I have and it is the greatest thing one could imagine. I'm sorry you do not know what I do.

GC
As per my definition of evidence, God is tangible, measurable, and knowable? GC, are you high? He is none of those things and I would have to concede that point even if I were a believer.

Religious guys, God tells you to kill your family, do you do it? Don't say he wouldn't, he's God he can do whatever he likes. He tells you there's new rules, that he just made. And that you gotta kill your family if you truly believe. He doesn't have to explain his reasons.

Don't say you can suddenly tell its not God either, that's pathetic. It is God, and you know it. That's the scenario.

If it happened,

Massacre or insubordination?

This just in: God is watching your answers so he says take this seriously, no screwing around.

Anyone who says "No because..." FAILS. God doesn't want excuses. God does say that he will never do this though, and you know it, so you can answer honestly and it won't matter.

God says the world is gonna end in a minute so hurry up and answer.

He predicts no one will answer the question as asked.

You presented a question like this and I gave you an answer, you said no Christian has ever tried to answer it, yet I found it quite easy to answer, that answer still holds for this question since it's similar. Also I'm saying to you what's said to me by many atheist here, do you really presume you can speak for God, what makes you believe you can set down rules for or from God. Making up things to drive others in a corner isn't quite honest. Also you can't be a prophet, I answered the question.

GC
God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Yeah, GC, but that doesn't compute with atheists, since they don't believe in god. So we're on a different wavelength here. When I answer your posts, I don't think, god did it, since there's no god for me. I think, humans at a certain time in history at a certain region set down an agenda for their people.

And I don't think we should follow the laws of bronze age tribes anymore or see morality in what they believed to be right back then.

Sure, I speak for God any time I Like. It's very easy. I have spent most of the day with him, and we've been discussing your answers. He is not impressed! He will have stern words with you about it. He says he's quite happy for me to be his official spokesperson. So I'm happy to put forward any questions you have.

We went to the park, it was a nice day. Cold though.

He says he used to get several hundred burnt corpses a day, but recently there's been severe cuts in most parts of the world. They seem to have stopped doing it. He says it's a shame as he really likes the burning smell. He said they got that bit right in his book.

He doesn't need too much money as he can make anything, but he does receive £2 million a day in kick backs from the church. I don't know what he does with it all. I know he is in the hole big time gambling with you-know-who. And his father needs looking after now so he does send some money back there. That's Odin, if you were wondering. He took a big turn for the worse when everyone started saying he was made up. He's not made up!

RE: The End of the World
If we are living in a computer simulation, the end of the world might be around the year 2050. It will be about that time when we have the computational abilities to run are own ancestor simulations. This will cause stacking of simulations upon simulations eating up all the computational resources of the parent reality.
