I have lost several friends to cystic fibrosis, so I have donated to the CF Foundation, and to individuals with the disease.

I also donate to public radio. I'm a definite NPR fan, but also community radio.

I've donated in various ways to many charities. Not nearly as much as I wish I could, I've never had much money to spare.

I avoid charities that fund animal testing as I think it's evil and pointless. I tend to support animals charities because animals are completely at our mercy and I hate the suffering they go through at our hands.

I have no money whatsoever. I am unemployed, and when I do work I barely make enough to support myself.

If I was to donate to charity, however, it would be a purely secular/humanitarian charity.

NPR and a local musician's charity here.

I used to volunteer at a food bank in California, but working sixty hours a week, I don't have the time here.
