The rundown

RE: The rundown
Yes...just like "Catholic" falls under "Christian", but it would be dishonest for someone to characterize "Christianity" as a belief system involving transubstantiation, the trinity, and a non-literal creation story, which is what you're doing by characterizing all of Satanism as "You are your own god". You don't get to take a subset of a group and then portray that as the entire group.

I don't much care about satanism at all, but I do care about the seemingly immutable trend of theists being grossly dishonest around here.

How the heck did satanism get into the discussion? Lol

Look guys, at the core I am an atheist. At the same time, however, I do think its good to be a spiritual person...one does not need a god to accomplish this.

when I mention "left hand path" it mainly touches on the idea of being able to explore diffrent spiritual and philosophical concepts unrestricted. It doesnt necessarily mean im going out there doing crazy magic shit and rituals bound by some doctrine.

When I mentioned "I am my one god/master" is such concept ive come to agree with. Does it litteraly mean that I'm some powerful being that can zap people at my leizure?...no it does not. That would be stupid.
It means that I believe that there is no freakin higher power looking out over me, just myself, therefor I am my own god, my own master.

and so what if I "was" a satanist?
from what I learned its really not as evil as its displayed to be, atleast some forms of satanism.

Would it be fair to say all christians are like the West Boro Baptist Church people?...no? Didnt think so. even if it does seem like it sometimes.

You used one of our theist's trigger words and sent them into a tizzy.

Yeah, not for them the subtle nuances of figurative speech.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

You obviously wrote a very good introduction because you've brought on the wrath of the resident crazies.
