The most dangerous person to you is not your worst enemy. Your worst enemy hurts you purposefully, so the amount of damage he can do to you will always be limited by his negative emotions that his evil doing triggers. At some point he may even say "he got what he deserved" and can even stop hurting you or even regret it and apologize later.

The person most dangerous to you is a loved one who is well intentioned towards you and hurts you thinking he's doing you good. Instead of being restrained by negative emotions, he is unleashed by positive emotions and nothing can ever stop the person. Unlike your worst enemy who wants to hurt you efficiently and at low cost, a loved one can invest an unlimited amount of time, effort and resources in doing so. So nothing can ever limit the amount of damage that person can do to you.

And rather than apologizing for hurting you, they can only blame you for being ungrateful towards them and accuse you for being evil, further hurting you. Many parents fit this category. Many spouses, many husbands. And you cannot blame them, because they mean you no harm, but harm is often done, often irreparable.

Kudos except for the last part.

You can absolutely blame them. If they are continuing to engage in abusive behavior after being informed of how it affects you, then they are absolutely to be blamed, regardless of their intentions.

An example---not nearly on the level of faith healers, but it illustrates the point nonetheless. I would tell my mother about an accomplishment, one I had worked really hard at and felt a great sense of accomplishment at having achieved. She would immediately say, "Praise God" or something to that effect. That is abhorrently offensive, and I told her so. It trivializes all the hard work that I did. Her response is "I believe x or y, and it's not meant to be offensive." My response is always: "well, now you know it's extremely offensive, and in the future if you say that to me again, you'll do it with that knowledge."

If she were to continue to act like that, she would be completely to blame. She can think it, say it to others, but don't bring that shit to me. Christians that do harmful shit knowing it's harmful, but giving themselves captive to their dogma are absolutely to blame.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Absolutely disgusting. This is either murder or death by negligence depending on how you evaluate the mental capabilities of the parents.

Parents have a responsibility to be well informed about the world if they are making decisions on behalf of their children. Religious bullshit is not an excuse. Do your little prayers or whatever after getting them into the proper treatment. Not instead of.

Faith healing is an utter sham and the sooner people wake up to this the better.

I've known parents who have gone without food just so their kids could eat. I cannot square that with cunts who put their own fantasy land before the lives of their children. If that has to make sense, I don't want to live in this Universe anymore.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

To answer the question all of it would be labled.

1. Negligence
2. Manslaughter

Most cases i looked up they gotten 10 years jail sentence for the death of their children.

They said Idaho is one of 6 states with these religious murder exemption laws.
Anyone know what the other 5 are?

As I said in an earlier post, "sin"can be forgiven. Whether it's yours for taking your kid to a doctor or the kid's for accepting the help doesn't matter fuck-all. You want to pray for your kid? Fine, pray for their forgiveness and yours for "sinning" by accepting medical help, but get the fucking help!

Right, then you can pretend it's God working through the doctors, or the treatments, whatever you need to tell yourself.

God helps those who help themselves, them alone, and only as much as they help themselves.

I wish there was a way to deny the people who kill their kids like this access to any type of human help. Just, like, getting put on some little "don't sell to" list for any type of medicine, or paramedics having database of people they're not allowed to help because they prefer their god. One of these jackasses gets in a car crash, "It's okay, people! She/he has very strong faith that an angel will pull her/him out!".

Petty? No, just keeping them from being hypocrites.

Quote:Refusing necessary medical treatment of any kind for you minor children should be a crime.

"I don't believe in blood transfusions."

So the fuck what. Your kid can be forgiven for their "sin," if they survive.

This is the simplest thing about it and none of these faith healing retards seem to get the simple concept. "Sin" can always be forgiven. Once your kid is dead, there's no going back.

Fuck these stupid ass-hats and their religious beliefs that kill kids.

That's the thing, though. These morons think the kid just goes on to a magical fairyland where everything's fine. Death is a good thing for them, they don't care if there's no going back.
