Problems With The Bible Pt 5 - Sodom and Gomorrah

Taking a look at some of the problems with Sodom and Gomorrah, Why did God need to send angels to scout the city for him?  Why would God negotiate with Abraham about the people in the city?  Why didn't God keep lot from getting raped?  And much more.

Xtians never quite seem to realize how badly their so-called god comes across.

Personally, I put that down to a personality flaw among believers.

Most, if not all, of the old testament stories have holes in them. Abraham couldn't find ten good people there, but apparently there was Lot, his wife, his daughters, and two men they were betrothed to. That somehow disappear so that the girls need to rape their father to make sure they have children. That's six people already. There weren't four more? We know the standard is kind of low, because the most righteous man in town offered his daughters in the place of two strangers he pulled into his house. They didn't bang on the door, and beg to be let in. He insisted they come in, and offered his daughters up to the mob afterwards.

Because he wanted to set up Lot for offering his daughters to be gang raped so they are utterly prepared for the ensuing father daughter fuck in the cave. God always works in misterious ways.
