My 80's and 90's childhood in the UK:
TV: Thundercats, Ghostbusters, Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, Tiny Toons: "We're tiny, we're toony, we're all a little loony, and in this cartoony we're invading your TV", Count Duckula, He-man, Fun House, Grange Hill, Byker Grove, the utterly boring Blue Peter, ?Knightmare, Dr Who.
Films: We watched Labyrinth at school when I was about 10 and loved the bog of eternal stench, were excited about seeing all the latest Schwarzeneggar films way before we got to 18 - the earliest one I remember seeing, before I was even a teenager I think, was Commando. Lying about my age to get into the cinema to see Demolition Man and then failing the second time when I tried to get in again with my friends.
Music: We listened to Abba in the car and all my sister's Now whatever year tapes. Ah yeah, 2 Unlimited: No Limit, Michael Jackson's Dangerous was the coolest thing when I was about 12, The Prodigy: Out of Space, Rave: Dreamscape and Dance Paradise, Salt 'n' Pepa embarrassed the hell out of me when "Let's Talk About Sex" was played in class, Bon Jovi, Nirvana.
Games: Started I think with a Sega Megadrive: Streets Of Rage 1/2/3 were the best, later a Mega CD: Night Trap was cool and a SNES: an expert at Mario Kart, Mario All Stars was in the box when we got the SNES for Christmas and opening is one of my fondest memories - we were so excited. Also an Amiga 500 and 1200: Amos and Blitz Basic programming languages - made a cool little Dr Who platform game out of them with Daleks, Vista Pro whatever that was, we joined some sort of mail order game company and they sent us Sid Meier's Colonization by mistake but I loved it and was forever after a fan of all things Sid Meier. Sega Game Gear, and Nintendo Game Boy... then there was something similar ?Lynx.
Tech: Yep Walkmans, at school we were obsessed with Casio watches, calculators, and personal organisers for some unknown reason - Sharp and ?Xenon never got a look in, floppy disks, Zip/LS120 Drives, oh yeah, those little pocket TVs about the size of a Game Boy.
Other: Hubba Bubba, those little packs containing a few sticks of absolutely delicious chewing gum and smiley stickers - I'd give anything if anyone could tell me what that was called, Kinder Eggs: Collecting Terrapins, Playmobil and Lego toys.
Oh that was a nice trip down memory lane that could go on a lot longer...

Also loved this show. Maddie in one episode implied without saying the "a" word that she didn't believe in a god. Loved this show too.

Saw ABBA in your post, you can listen to their music 24/7 on a online fan run radio feed. Check out "Waterloo Radio" on Facebook. I am an ABBA fan myself as you can tell by my avatar. ABBA though was 70s band.

I liked bubble gum back then. Somebody had a really good grape flavor. Not sure who. I also miss those sundance bubbly fruit drinks. And Fun Fruits.
One thing I don't quite recall but loved at the time was this Livesavers flavor that combined fruit and a capsicum effect. I thought it was Therm-O-savers or therm-o-mints. Not sure, though.

I've got a boxed set of it all now  Such a wide range of different types of songs. It has been a while though since I last listened to it so I can't even remember what my favourite song is, sorry
