I understand what the Bible states. I am a Christian however he is not.
It would seem the unbeliever is doing the raping...
I think she just meant it in the no-true-Christian sense so common among you fundies. You know, when one of you disagrees with another, they just aren't really a xtian at all.

I hope no one will be confused about the "kudos" for that. I hope you mean that you do not treat your wife like shit, and that is the reason for the kudos. However, I completely disagree with the idea that any of this has anything to do with the Bible. You should treat your wife well because she is a human being, and, hopefully, you actually care about her. This has nothing whatever to do with religion.
The bible goes far above and beyond treating your wife 'well.' The love we are to work to display has one dying for her, as Christ died for the church. It is hard to imagine one willing to die for one's wife if can manage to treat her well.

Could have quoted more recent replies, but this is the main thrust of them, it seems. It doesn't become less onerous so long as the other partner does it as well. Locking two rapists in a room together does not magically alter what it is that they're up to. I could sum this (and your other posts in thread) up, fairly, as "it's not rape when I do it, if she does it too", couldn't I?
I don't know what to say, I hope that most of us don't feel the way that you do about this subject, I suppose. You say that your religion is responsible for you holding this notion, eh?
again, I have established the standard of Rape in this country when I cited the federal guidelines for it. Something you guys can't seem to get your heads around. the fact is that submitting to your marriage partner to have sex is not rape in any way shape or form.
It only seems to be counted as rape by those who are on a Christian witch hunt.

Sometimes my husband is in severe pain. He has been diagnosed with arthritis in his knees and back. Some days it doesn't bother him and we try to do as much as possible, like taking long walks. Other days, it is excruciating for him. When he is in pain, I can't even get in the mood for sex because my focus is on him. If we go to the ER, it will be solely to get him help not to get him help so that we can have sex.
My husband is a wonderful guy. It would break my heart if he felt guilty because he was in pain and might not be able or want to have sex.

In the context of the article, the wife describes rape. Would you agree that in this instance, the husband is guilty of raping the wife and that the person who answered her question was incorrect?

I've had my issues with severe back pain, and let me just say, when it is so bad you can move, sex is the last thing on your mind. Now as you demonstrated here or if you follow what Paul said here, His body being yours and your his, You know sex is not on his mind. like wise it is not on yours because you care for Him. So again as 1 cor 7 says you both agree to put sex off for a time...
This doesn't mean because I have had back pain so bad I could not move for a couple of days, that my wife gets to decide we will never have sex again. Like wise if your Husband want to 'go for a walk' then you should not deny him just because his back may give him trouble later on. even if you decided to stop for a while given a set of agreed on conditions.
Again read the verse. This is not about forcing one partner into sex or keeping them from it. Paul is taking the power of sexual control away from one person and making it an Marital decision. Got to remember the time in which this was written. Men has absolute control and authority over their women (the way the OP wants this passage to read) That is why Paul said the authority over the husbands body belonged to the wife. This now meant she had a say when sex was and was not going to happen as well.

Quite the same way some anonymous guy with the screen-name Huggy74 does, you dumb sonofabitch. You are one of a block. And the respondents are, as well.
If you wish to impugn his faith, or theirs, because he and they are online and anonymous, you must impugn your own.
Any more questions, Einstein?
Look muppet, it's very simple, he doesn't speak for all Christians (in case you haven't figured it out, all Christians don't agree on the same things). If that's the case I'll just go ahead and lump you in the same group with your statutory rape defending atheist buddies.

If yes then by the federal statute no rape occoured.
If she did not consent to sex and penetration occoured then she was raped.

Maybe you just have a different understand of the word, than rest of society.
https://www.fbi.gov/about-us/cjis/ucr/re...-questions
Maybe you should define rape
Submitting to sex and giving one's consent are not the same thing. Women being raped may be too afraid to fight back and so "submit" for fear of death or bodily harm. That's still rape. If you think it isn't, there's a very special place for people like you where they'll be kept away from society so they can't hurt anyone.
Verbatim from the mouth of Jesus (retranslated from a retranslation of a copy of a copy):
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged. For in the same way you judge others, you too will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. How can you see your brother's head up his ass when your own vision is darkened by your head being even further up your ass? How can you say to your brother, 'Get your head out of your ass,' when all the time your head is up your own ass? You hypocrite! First take your head out of your own ass, and then you will see clearly who has his head up his ass and who doesn't." Matthew 7:1-5 (also Luke 6: 41-42)
