lolol no not really. There is no evidence to suggest we turn to apes or that we formed out of nowhere. But I think given enough time, something like humans becoming more stupid and less complex might happen.

I'm bad at explaining things. So let me try again.

The real issue is abiogensis and  single cell theory because there isn't enough support, evidence, or potential to be tested using the scientific method. So I am saying it's something else we don't know about and not necessarily life being Intelligently designed. (If that sounds like I'm throwing in my feelings and God in Science, by all means, ridicule and dismiss what I'm saying)

Since the past few centurries cancer rates and destruction of genetic information and is strongly increasing steadily and life is so much smaller and weaker as compared to the ancient and enormous fossils of the same species, so I really think all life is basically decaying over time.

This is quite Fringe and very people support this idea so I don't know.

Kill all hamsters.
Ok so you know nothing about biology, got it. Another fine product of the most expensive education system on earth.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.

It's a pain in the ass due to the time scales which evolution occurs. Abiogenesis is a pain in the ass because we must make many assumptions as to the exact conditions of the early earth. As for evidence, there's Miller-Urey, the temporal inconsistencies of which can be dismissed by considering Panspermia, which seems entirely likely, and may get a serious kick in the ass by going to Mars.

And evolution is evolution. There is a misconception that there is such a thing as devolution, which is not a biological concept of any substance. As for degrading, there's an interesting correlation with language, which has led to some wild "ancient aliens" type speculation.

Well, there are plenty of resources out there to learn all about evolution Smile I'm sure people here can recommend good starting points if you are interested.

If you are always trying to force the bible to make sense, then that will indeed get in the way of learning.

Yeah kind of. I'm not very educated. My parents were missionary's to different countries so we kept moving from school to school. Most of them were Christian schools so the teachers did have I bias on Evolution.

Plus, (emotional drivel here) I tried to suicide by jumping off my balcony and so I got myself paralyzed waist down for life so I had to redo a year of high school....boring old wheelchair homeschool style.

Little thing you need to know here. The Bible, regardless of what happens or is, always makes sense to me because my life even if time machine existed to prove the Bible wrong. I'll tell you why.

I was a normal, intelligent skeptical unsheeple dude weary of organized religious idiots that are stuck to to one single book and can't get their close-minded off of it. I really do know how you feel about people like me who want to shoe horn their God into Science.

I can't say a big 3 page life story but I have become exactly what I have dreaded so I'm uncontrablly stuck with the Bible ever since two years.

.I've only been this faithy creatard Evolution-twister for only 2 years now so if you met me a long while back you would have been happier and met an open-minder person.

But I'll remain this way for life. It's like I've been put under an uncontrollable faith-spell. I just no longer simply CAN'T view life outside the Bible.

OK, well that's your choice. Unfortunately, it's going to hamper any attempts to learn in any detail about reality.

Whatever changes you made, you did them, and I would love it if you would credit yourself.

Likely a function of repetition and ritual. If you're in an environment of "Bible," you're gonna have to get out of that environment to get out of it. And at 18 it's too early to tell if remaining that way for life is an actual consideration.

*Warning: Religious prosletyzing drivel here*

Don't be. I'm totally OK and jolly with my condition and I have know that God is good and loves me no matter what happens. It says in the Bible in pslams that "This poor man cried, and God saved out of all his troubles." Ever since I've fallen, I've grown more and more to love God and know that he does care for everyone and gave me this suffering to know and sympathize and enjoy and love people better. God weeps and cries for the suffering people around the globe and it is the suffering people whom he saves. "Suffering Children" are safe in his arms.

Do you believe in magick? Or paranormal powers? I was going to post such a thread in the philosophy thing in order to explain a hypothesis I have on how some people are stuck in faith like me.

No I don't, but feel free to make a post about it Smile

The much simpler explanation is indoctrination and immersion in the mythology. If you were born in an Islamic country, almost certainly you'd be saying how Islam was undoubtedly true.

I have lots of ideas why people hold religious beliefs. Something terrible happened to you, and you found a way of coping. It's perfectly understandable.
