I guess we should accept the witness of David Berkowitz (the Son of Sam) when he told us that a Demon told him, through his neighbor's dog, to commit murder. We have no evidence whether the dog could or couldn't talk to those of a particular spiritual mindset, and so his testimony is the "best" evidence to which we have access.

Wow, you sure write a lot of word salad. If someone "witnesses" something so incredible that no one else has ever seen before and seems too unbelievable to be true, no one has any reason to believe what they're saying is true unless they can demonstrate their claim.  I love this quote by Christopher Hitchens: "That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence". 

You know what gets me about those claims about people who were on LSD who "saw god"? That's a hallucinogenic substance, so by definition, the reason you "saw god" is because you hallucinated. Are you not satisfied with my proposal, OP? Thinking

Yes, but this thread is implicitly about RELIGIOUS testimony, though it's pretended that it isn't.
And we know RELIGIOUS people would never give false testimony. . . right?  Cuz they're so honest and stuff?
