For those who want proof of the exodus
RE: For those who want proof of the exodus

I know you truly want that book to be true, we get that. But it really is nothing but a book of myth. Humans wrote that book because they didn't know any better. In the same way the Ancient Romans created their gods and the same way Mayans created theirs and the same way Native Americans made up their spirit gods.

Humans gap fill based on false perceptions.

if that were true then it would stand to reason that their would be no evidence for the exodus as described by the bible right?

Then what say you of just the three point I make mention of from the movie in the above post?

Guy's it's not a want to be true. it about finding the truth and honoring it no matter where it leads. That is how I shaped my life, and what I most respect about this film/film maker!

Pt. III of the Ipuwer papyrus

But when you are desperate people will latch on to anything which gives them vindication for their nonsense.

Once again, put down your silly bibles and read some actual history:

Quote:Of prior concern here should be the date of the sources in Exodus 1- 14 judged empirically on the basis of datable details. The latter, it must be admitted, are few and most are of a toponymic nature. Research on these place-names, however, has proceeded far beyond the stage of Cazelle's classic article of thirty-five years ago; and we can now genuinely speak of a unanimity of the evidence. Whoever supplied the geographical information that now adorns the story had no information earlier than the Saite period (seventh to sixth centuries B.C.). The eastern Delta and Sinai he describes are those of the 26th Dynasty kings and the early Persian overlords: his toponyms reflect the renewed interest in the eastern frontier evidenced for this period by fort building and canalization. He knows of "Goshen" of the Qedarite Arabs, and a legendary "Land of Ramesses." He cannot locate the Egyptian court to anything but the largest and most famous city in his own day in the northeastern Delta, namely Tanis, the royal residence from about 1070 to 725 B.C. (cf. Psalm 78:12, 43), which survives as a metropolis into Roman times; and he mistakenly presses into service the adjacent marshy tract "the reed-(lake)" as the "Reed-sea," the scene of Israel's miraculous passage to safety. The route he is familiar with is that which traverses the same tract as the canal of Necho II (610-594 B.C.) from Bubastis to the Bitter Lakes; then he moves north in his mind's eye past the famous fort at Migdol to Lake Sirbonis (Ba'al Saphon) where Horus had already in the mythical past thrown Seth out of Egypt. In short, with respect to the geography of the Exodus, the post-Exilic compiler of the present Biblical version had no genuinely ancient details. He felt constrained to supply them from the Egypt of his own day and, significantly perhaps, cited several places where Asiatic elements and especially Judaean mercenaries resided in the sixth and fifth centuries.

 nice try old sport.
Here is an english copy of the "admonishions of an egyptian scribe by Ipuwer:
http://raseneb.tripod.com/Ipuwer.htm
Part/Chapter 1: "The tribes of the desert have become Egyptians everywhere."

Donnie's paragraph seems to be the want and wishes of a man who wants or is trying to will what he says to be true. Because again it does not sync up with the archaeological dig in the goshen region.

Maybe try and source some info from a legit source next time, and leave real references like I did.

you don't have evidence for your claim that's pretty much it. All you have is a baseless claim with no

no he didn't he gave me some d-bag commentary. do you really think just because he claims to quote something or some one he is actually presenting evidence dry sand?

When people do that it's called cherry picking and that is a logical fallacy. that's old school/old Catholic school propaganda. where someone by his 'authority' pretends to quote someone of greater authority and you can't challenge it because your authority will never match the other two egg heads..

Do you not see the irony here? Minnie and the d-bag he is quoting are using the same technique that the church used in the dark ages! to push what they think/want to be true.

When I quote someone or some thing it is usally the source. then i place a link for on-line verfication. So it is not my word you have to take. for instance minnie pretended to quote the papryus that contains the recorded plagues. then he select a quote/ cherry picks out something that makes the whole papyrus seem to be saying that it is the barbarians being the cause to all of egypts troubles. meaning it was not the Jews. So i took a quote from the first page that it was wandering semites who were not over throwing/populating natural egyptians, and then I provided a link to the whole document so people like you can make up your own mind.

The problem with 'higher education' is places weak minds in a position to receive and accept data/'truthiness' into a specific format. if and when people like minnie learn this format he then has the key to manipulate 'educated minds.' all one has to do is follow the formula of this format then he controls or can manipulate how people think.

Drippy, you are in over your head.

You'd be over your head in a small puddle.

As always, you don't know what the fuck you are talking about.

I actually agree with you on this.  One of my proffessors who was going on about his lecture about how this and this author has bias, so what is his bias regarding the subject...and I then said "Can't we all say we have biases", he made a joke in the reply that in that "all proffessors are evil" (ie. they aren't there with a sincere agenda to teach you to be unbiased towards certain things and won't teach you all sides, and often hide away the stongest views that contradict theirs, in short they are there to teach you to think like them"). I don't agree with him, but of course, he didn't mean all, but is exaggerating the truth of majority and exaggerating the motive of their intention. Over all what he said, holds some weight however even the words themselves weren't much and are false if taken literally and don't mean anything literally.

Except that there is a conformation bias about exodus like it really did happen in which case it never did.

If this is true you must go to a very strange university. Normal college professors are seasoned veterans of peer review. They do address weaknesses in contemporary theory. Unless you are taking religion classes arguing over how many angels can sit on the head of a pin, most university subjects can be answered using the scientific method and verified independently so that a professor that spouts out wrongly biased points of view can easily have his reputation and career ruined during peer review.

Drippy, you stupid fuck, you cannot tell the difference between evidence and assertion.  Your fucking bible has NOTHING to back it up.  Morons like you think that quoting another part of the same shit is sufficient to "prove" another piece of the turd.  It doesn't.

I seriously doubt that you are capable of ever learning the difference.  I have told you before.  You should stick to your fucking bible because you are simply too stupid to engage in critical thinking.

Leave the thinking to those who can handle it.  You had best just remain a sheep.  Go eat some grass.
