Which is better? To be born male or female?

Why is that the assumption? What you just described is 1% of humans.

Well women have better orgasms but men never have to fake them.

I'm being an idealist; hopefully, someday, everyone, without exception, will be in a "first world" nation.  And, now, I'm being an optimist.  But, you're point is taken; outside of the First World (as well as in the First World) women are oppressed, but in the First World at least, they are more able to have their own economic independence, with some exceptions, of course.

It's a good question and one that I think about a lot.  Yes men might get paid more in certain aspects, but a good looking woman can get paid hundreds to kick a man in the balls, or chew gum on cam, or just basically for standing there and existing.

There's definitely too many variables to consider to give a straight answer.

I'd say society treats happy women better than happy men. If a girl goes around dancing and singing just because she's happy it's considered sweet and cute but I think with a male heterosexual there's pressure to not act happy even if you are happy.

I think men have to put up with worse jobs, possibly more violence, on the other hand can get away with being ugly as long as their either clever or strong. Women have to cope with periods and pregnancy.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Better for what purpose?

Overall happiness and life satisfaction.  One woman who I work with is laughing regularly, always making conversation.  She's a manager, and "socializing" is, to an extent, her job anyway.

Happiness really isn't dependent on gender. It comes from within, no matter what gender you are or identify with.

Either, although there is still far far more sexism against females than males, I'd say it's easier to be male overall.

But it's not "better" to be born either sex. Sexes are equal y'all.

If I was born female but I had otherwise the same personality I'd be one hell of nympho... but that's another conversation.

It comes from within but it is greatly affected by without.

Terrible life experiences seriously fuck with your happy brain chemicals... but your happy brain chemicals are still within.
