I'm going to give you a personal example of how this works. There is this girl in my class at school. She has a fucking amazing ass that and figure. But j also acknowledge that she is a very competent and intelligent human, who is very kind and easy to get along with. She also has great organizational skills. Does that make me an evil sexist who views women as objects. Hardly. Just my mother was careful to teach me that women are more then just sex objects. In other words you can teach a straight man to see women as humans, but you can't teach him to not what to fuck women.

How is me saying what my husband doesn't do, "asserting that all a guy is thinking about is banging a girl?" I can't tell if you genuinely misread something or if you are deliberately strawing.

I completely agree. No person have to just sit there and accept getting gawked at. But then again no one is arguing that women should just accept and sit there while they are gawked at..

That is why we teach men not to be brain dead morons. That said, humans are stupid, and both genders will gawk at members of the opposite (or same) sex. I don't do it, I like seeing as more then sex objects and I want a strong and intelligent woman for a girlfriend. But like I said people are morons.
