Yay for linux. I love linux. Everyone should have linux. Everyone should have multiple flavours of linux. it IS AWESOME.

As far as your main problem, you should try a clean install of Windows instead of trying to repair the old one.

Or screw Windows and install Linux Mint.

I'd love to have Linux again, but my kids would kill me. How would they play Minecraft?
