So you saying that God works in God mode all the time? Why do his followers only get one extra life them?
(At least he gives them unlimited ammo to kill each other with ...so he's got that going for him....which is nice ....hehe)

Something else that never seems to happen:

when a group of christers schisms from an already established sect/schism/denom they don't EVER wind up in another established sect/schism/denom, they invariably gestate a new one.

I suppose if some group of Southern Baptists (for instance) felt the home office was munging up the franchise, and after a period of ecclesiastical evaluation of all the other 70.000 franchisees, they lit upon the Congregation of Jehovah's Presbytery of Zion as being the One True Faith and then signed on with them, it would be viewed as preposterous, the visuals being better if they just go off on their own instead of hooking up with another establishedl outfit.
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
