Yes, and if that's a bannable offence now, then go right ahead.

Trolling is a bannable offense. You literally admitted to it in another thread, revealing that your support of trump was a lie. Now I find you in another thread, quite literally repeating Trump talking points (and thoroughly debunked ones at that).

If you aren't trolling, perhaps try to add a bit more substance to your posts.

'Nuff said

Maybe she didn't want to say anything, but just stand next to her husband as he made his speech. Does everyone on camera have to say something?

The speech was touching. The only thing that bugged me in the video was the USA chant from the audience.

Here's another one:

I read "Satanic Verses" when I was in my teens.  Wow, great stuff, and what a great writer.  And he's a hero of liberal Islam IMO.

Except Salman Rushdie is not a Muslim. It would be more appropriate to mention Maajid Nawaz though.

Yes, the Vote Trump posts were indeed a joke but that doesn't mean I can't agree with the occasional thing he says. But hey, go into your moderation subforum and discuss the case if need be.

Aiye, I tried to read the Satanic Verses, and after a few pages I began suspecting that the Fatwah was for the impenetrable style. Maybe I should give it another shot some time Smile
The fool hath said in his heart, There is a God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

You're right!

As far as I know, he's definitely an atheist. However, I'm pretty sure he comes from an Islamic cultural background-- certainly he's of that culture, and turned a big, ugly mirror back at it.

Yes, he's a lapsed Muslim, but that should hardly define him, given his actual views on religion.

One more:

This one hurts me a little bit.  I often think I'm saving my great moment for the future.  But I'm pretty sure I'll never show as much courage, or have as much influence, as this young lady already has.

Yeah, you're right. I'll have to say that he's one of my favorite anti-establishment ex-muslims. But I still think it's because he's OF them, at least culturally, that he's such a valuable speaker against those Muslims who are intolerant and belligerent.
