We had one for last year, let's test our speeds for this year!

I think my internet where I live now is slower than the one my ex-roommates used... but they spent a fortune on their internet and then left all their devices on even when they weren't losing them... and they wondered why it wasn't much faster!

It's faster than the WiFi I use it on. Can you run Speedtest on an Xbox? It's about the only thing I have on the wired network that might be able to run it.

Haha, just tested over WiFi - WTF? Then I remembered I'm syncing a bunch of data from across the pond on another machine.




(My connection is 150Mbps.)

My connection is officially 200Mbps but I usually get inbetween 150-170. The upload speed is always 12, since my ISP limits it. I guess it's just their policy or something.

If mine were idle at the time yours wouldn't be faster, not even close. I'm transferring gigabytes of TV programming right now and the line is plugged up.

They do that so you're forced to pay for a business-class service if you want to run a server with decent bandwidth.
