I haven't come across the first thread you mentioned, but did you see in that second thread he actually apologized and admitted he didn't know as much about the subject as he thought he did? That's pretty dang mature for a pre-teen, IMO.

He's 12.  12 year olds tend to spout off about things they know nothing about while also trying to be sarcastic and/or edgy, especially online where they're not censored by parents and other authority figures.  I would imagine this is doubly true for a young atheist who doesn't have any other safe places to vent about these kinds of things specifically.

I do think he can stop making so many new topics that are, essentially, the same topic (mostly "fuck you, god" with some dashes of "look how illogical this shit is").  But, beyond that, I don't have a problem with him.  He's a kid acting like kids act.

QFT.

He'll become a more mature poster with experience; both life experience and the experience of just being here, reading others' thoughts and arguments.

He's sharp enough to see through the farce of religion which is quite a healthy head start, IMO.

It's never to early to learn. Not calling him out on repetitions of the same old won't add anything to him becoming more mature. If he's already an athiest at that age, I'm sure he can stomach that. Why sit idly by while he just presents the same old and rehashed arguments?

That's a fair point, Abaris. Perhaps it's unfair of me to presume that all twelve-year-olds are as emotionally fragile as I was when I was twelve. [emoji57]

I for one wasn't any more or less fragile than I am now. Just more delusional, for lack of a better word, as far as the real world is concerned.

Yeah I understand, what you mean.
Sorry but if you don't want to read my posts it's fine.
The AF is just a way for me to rant without feeling bad or guilty.

But instead of calling me out just tell directly but in a way my outer thoughts don't get offended.
It's like multiple personalities, but less psychotic. They work together to keep me together.

I'll stop being repetitive if that's what you want.

P.S

Anddddddd...
Creationists typically avoid topics like the ones I post. So do try to open it up to them to show them the fallacy of god.

You won't find The God (precreational being) inside the universe. What you are looking for is a universe sized hand print and you are in one of the valleys of the finger print ridges left by the 4rth finger.

Do you understand your predicament?
