I do all kinds of things. But yes it's fairly archaic here and my soul bleeds away a day at a time.

I don't think you are even a viable die-able age yet.  Just picked up "The God of Small Things" where that was used.  It came from this passage:

".. and they are as old as Ammu was when she died.  Thirty-one.
   Not old.
   Not young.
   But a viable die-able age."

Another related passage that applies:

"   In those early amorphous years when memory had only just begun, when life was full of Beginnings and no Ends, and Everything was Forever, .."

The book is set in India and this would be some time ago but -except for what we would accept as a "viable, die-able age"- those descriptions fit.  You sir are rife with Beginnings and unacquainted with your limits, not knowing yet if any there be.

This is one of those stick insects I was talking about.
This is the smallest one I've ever seen.
They're usually a bit browner and three times the size.
It's a bit mangled because the cat brought it inside as a present.
Still alive but harmless.
