Yes, but so far it just feels like the first week of summer break.  When fall comes and I don't go back it will feel real, knock on wood.

That is what I saw first too.  Thought you might have gone in for one of those popular Japanese themed/ape sanctuary weddings, Rob.  If we ever renew our vows that is certainly the way I'd want to do it.

It was brilliant. It was our favourite place we'd ever been to, they do the most amazing work all over the world. They've stopped abuse such as beach photography stone cold in some countries and tirelessly continue to campaign. They rescue those that can't live in the wild and give them the best life they can, such as from laboratories and abusive owners. None are there just for entertainment. The only ones that aren't rescues are ones allowed to be born there, either for the good of the social groups or for breeding programs of endangered species. (Some get rotated out and in with other breeding programs due to blood lines.)

Much of the money to pay for our wedding went towards their future rescues!

No, it just paid a visit to the chairdresser. But Rob, I so love the idea of getting married at an ape sanctuary. We had a Darwin+Dinosaur themed wedding celebration (it was 2009), but that would have been just great.

We had a "how cheap can we make this thing" themed wedding in 1995.

We had a "how cheap can we make this thing" themed wedding in 1995.

A theme that ought to be chosen more often.

Our theme was how close can we get to a joint family union party and still have it be a wedding reception.  Ice sculpture was out, little kids running around under foot was in.

They have eradicated this completely in Spain (if my memory serves correctly). That was a while ago, they may well have kicked it out of other countries since then too.

I have indeed. my lovely wife is sat on the sofa behind me.
We decided that the marriage home was a better place to spend the money rather than blow it in one day.
